Thanks to Phetched for finding these doggie jackets. I'm not usually one to fall over dog clothes and we don't sell them here, but what a perfect compliment to our collars! I couldn't help myself. BugDugs does it right - style, class and function. Love it.

Martingale dog collars aren't just for greyhounds

The Australian rock star, Ruby, sports the Purple Rain martingale. Martingales are traditionally worn by sighthounds whose heads are smaller than their necks. The function of the martingale collar keeps the collar snug to prevent slipping off the dog's head. But any breed can rock a martingale! Just be sure to get it large enough to slip over the dog's head (or order a martingale with the quick release hardware to easy snap them on and off without slipping over the head). Thanks, Ruby. Okay, so she's also the newest member of my family - my dog niece. She's ADORABLE! I have a thing for small dogs and that includes puppies. She came over and picked out her first martingale collar and leash to match - the Inferno set. Here she is enjoying her very first walk on a leash! Give it up for Penelope...

I'm so excited about our new Web site! It's been a long time coming and it's finally here. I've learned a lot along the way and have much to learn still, so please let me know if you run across oddities as you browse the site.
